We have selected a range of white and red varietals for our vineyard, utilizing PIWI grapes and other vines known to thrive in the Burgundy region and Loire Valley. These vines are responding well to the changing Yorkshire climate, allowing us to produce exceptional Yorkshire wines. We also believe in sustainable and organic techniques, using home-based fertilizers and natural seaweed-based products to maintain the balance of the soil, ensuring the quality of our artisan wines.

Solaris and Bacchus are our main crops, which we use in our artisan wines, particularly in two single varietal options. Chardonnay and Seyval Blanc are expertly blended to create a bold and full-bodied white wine. We also have a few Siegrebbe and Ortega vines that we are currently experimenting with for Bacchus blends, showcasing the potential of PIWI grapes in our Yorkshire wines.

Rondo and Divico are both excellent PIWI grapes that serve as the backbone of our artisan wines. We also have a small planting of Cabernet Franc, which adds texture to our Yorkshire wines red blend. We believe this is the most northerly planting in the UK. Additionally, we have a small block of Pinot Noir that we utilize to create a single varietal wine in good years. In 2026, we plan to plant Cabernet Cortis and Merlot to help us develop a new red wine in the Bordeaux style.
