Our wines and vineyard tours

Our tours are designed so visitors can see vineyard and winery and how we work.  We then taste a selection of our wines.  In this visit you will experience a guided tour with:

• A short walk through the vineyard discussing the vines and how we grow the grapes,
• A step inside our micro-winery where we explain how we make the wine and you can see the micro-process up close
• Enjoy a guided tasting of our wines hearing from our wine maker on the joys and challenges of making Yorkshire Wine.

After that, you're welcome to stay with us and enjoy a glass or two from our wine list.  Our tours start at 13:00 and usually take 90 minutes.  Please wear suitable footwear for walking round the vineyards.   We do keep the paths mown around the route and the path is relatively flat.

We are delighted to share that Yorkshire Local Wine School and Towthorpe Vineyard have teamed up to host a “Tour of Yorkshire” wine tasting session at Towthorpe Vineyard.   

Join Laura and Peter to hear stories of incredible winemakers and how the region is growing rapidly. 

We will taste 7 wines including sparkling wine, whites and reds, showing the Yorkshire’s diversity.  

The event will be held on 5th September at Towthorpe Vineyard in the vines.  It will start at 1pm and last approximately 2 hours.   After that, you're welcome to stay with us and enjoy a glass or two from our wine list and have a walk in the vineyard.
